Rangers move Elvis Andrus to 60-day DL to make room on roster for waiver-claim Chris Perez
To make room on the 40-man roster for waiver-claim catcher Carlos Perez, the Rangers moved Elvis Andrus from the 10-day to 60-day disabled list Wednesday. It means Andrus would not be eligible to be activated until June 11 at the earliest.
The good news for Andrus: He is expected to begin rehabbing his right elbow on the Rangers’ upcoming homestand.
